Mountain day!!

Mountain Day is something that makes Lees McRae College unique. It is a
celebration of our heritage and surrounding environment. Why do you think it is
important for the college to continue this tradition? In what way do cultures and
traditions shape our identities?

I think it is very important for Lees-McRae to continue the tradition of mountain day because it shows that even as the school grows and grows it still keeps its values and cultures. Traditions and culture shape our identities by giving us morals of what is right and wrong and by giving us values that we should hold in high reguard for the rest of our lives.
